Located at the gateway of the wild and scenic Rogue River, this location is the flagship of the Wild River family of restaurants. The first of our locations to offer full table service, Wild River Brewing in Grants Pass features an open kitchen with two six-foot wood-fired pizza ovens, and a spacious dining area in this massive three level restaurant. To your right as you enter, you'll see Wild River's 30-barrel copper clad brew house, where we produce nearly 62,000 gallons of beer each year. Brewers are likely to be on the job brewing, and they'll gladly answer your questions and even, on a slow day, show you around the brewery.
Wild River has taken the concept of "cooking from scratch" to a whole new level. We make every item on our menu from basic whole ingredients, using fresh local produce, meats and cheeses. We even make our own pasta noodles for the ultimate in freshness and flavor.
Our Old World traditional wood fired pizzas and calzones are the cornerstone of a diverse menu featuring entirely house made items. The staff at Wild River Brewing in Grants Pass is our pride and joy, with almost 200 years of combined experience. Our servers will treat you like family, while our kitchen staff dazzles you with their dedication, their talent, and the joy they take in their work. We pride ourselves on the consistent high quality of our regular menu items, but even more on our ability to offer outstanding specials and cater to special requests. Kitchen manager Eric Bartley works overtime scouting for local, fresh, unique ingredients. You can often find him at the Farmer's Market, buying amazing local produce, herbs, cheeses, and more. In the growing season, we pick much of our own produce and herbs in the Wild River Garden. Tomatoes, eggplant, squash and lemon cucumbers from the garden enliven our kitchen and our menu. Daily harvests of basil, rosemary, thyme, sage, parsley, and mint guarantee incomparable freshness and flavor. One local favorite is Eggplant Parmesan, served with fresh marinara sauce and hard goat cheese on a bed of our house-made linguini. In all things, we strive to be fresh, local, and distinctive, and the result is a menu and daily specials with a unique Southern Oregon flair.
Southern Oregon has blessed the Wild River family of restaurants with success, and giving back to Southern Oregon communities has been one of our core missions for almost four decades. Starting from humble beginning supporting school sports activities, owners Jerry and Bertha Miller have become a mainstay of philanthropy and community support in the region. Each year Wild River supports literally hundreds of organizations and events through cash and in-kind donations. The success of the Wild River flagship restaurant in Grants Pass has greatly increased our commitment to this mission.
